Passengers Sickened During Turbulence On Flight To Philly: Report

Passengers deplaning at Philadelphia International Airport late on Thursday, Dec. 22 were greeted by emergency medical teams after some in-flight turbulence made a few passengers feel sick, 6abc reports.

The American Airlines flight took off from St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands but encountered rough skies en route to Philly, a spokesperson told the outlet. 

The airline said that first responders were called to the gate "out of an abundance of caution," but none of the passengers ended up going to the hospital, the report adds.
